Global warming has done away with the old pictures of polar bears

The Summer Camps application form is out this weekend and here are the details for Senior Camp (16+).

Senior Camp

Dates: 3rd-10th July 2010

Venue: Royal School Armagh

Leaders: Robert and Lynn Robb

Cost: £160

Speaker: Rev. Albert Baxter (1st Portglenone Presbyterian Church of Ireland)

Google has revealed some information on the speaker from his church’s website:

“Albert Baxter was installed as the Minister of 1st Portglenone on 1st March 1985.
Albert grew up in Castlewellan (Co. Down) and was educated at Castlewellan Primary, Down High School (Downpatrick), Queens University (Belfast) and Union Theological College (Belfast). He served a 3-year assistantship in Ballyclare Presbyterian Church before being called to 1st Portglenone.
He is currently the only salaried member of staff in the Church here (with the exception of a part-time organist and a part-time caretaker).
Albert led Scripture Union Camps for a number of years, as well as overseeing the work of the Presbyterian Church’s Summer Outreach Teams throughout Ireland. He has one very unusual hobby – He drives tour-coaches for a local Coach Company!
Our Minister lives in the Manse (the house provided by the Church)”

Update: You can learn more about Albert Baxter in an interview in the next Messenger Magazine.

Don’t think there’ll be a website but you might be able to download the application from http://www.rpc.org. Otherwise I could upload the form for you and you could print it off, fill it out and send it off?
